Hurtling through time and space,
Can he ever find a place?
Jumping forward to a brand new earth,
Jumping back to an empty hearth.
Forward again to see the Face of Boe,
Back in time to meet an old foe.
He is pursued by an incessant fact,
The likes of which he can't take back.
His entire home, his people his soul,
All gone, leaving him without a goal.
The last of the Time Wars,
The end of his kind,
He is trapped by those bars,
But what is he seeking to find?
Solace he finds within one girl,
The likes of whoms story unfurls.
Constant companions, best friends, equals,
Even through their occasional squalls.
It is she for whom he sought,
And for she for whom he fought.
The man of whom I speak is he,
The last of the Time Lords,
The Doctor

The Doctor
He stood alone
Watching the world
This was who he was;
Timeless defender
Of all he saw
And all he didn't see
And all he could never see again
Time stops
Lingering on the whithering
Rose.

For the Doctor
there he stood like a stranger
amidst all the panic and the danger
he saw them all try to run
mother,father,daughter,son
he watched them all with grief in his eyes
as he could do nothing but watch them die
though to save them all he tried
he could not break the laws of space and time
"what is meant to happen must always be"
with a heavy heart and conscience said he
filled with regret as he told them he was sorry
countless planets, the whole universe he saved
from innumerable threats and villains depraved
rarely a thank you did he ever get
he never required one, on him you could always depend
the doctor was always there, the un

Wow. It's really good. I like the simetry of the words. Congratulations.
